Tawny frogmouth



Photographed attempting to roost in next door's garden for the day. He was convinced that his camouflage as a tree was undetectable. To be fair, if he had been IN a tree, it would have been. Bless him. He got bothered by the other birds all day and at twilight he flew back to his nocturnal life again. Just precious.
